Composition & Design
It’s important to note that the display has no protective cover on it, which results in a clear and bright image, but also makes it fragile. Right below the screen are two up/down buttons, as well as the micro USB charging port.
Due to the slightly curved ergonomic design, holding the Smok Devilkin in your hand is very comfortable. However, due to it weighing 220g+ with a tank attached, carrying it in a pocket can be slightly uncomfortable. The tactile firing button covers almost the whole right side, making it prone to misclicks.
On the top is the 510 threaded connection to which the tank will be attached. It has plenty of room to support atomizers up to 30mm in diameter with no overhang. The two batteries are inserted at the bottom by opening the sliding cover door.
Software
TC supports nickel, stainless steel, and titanium coils, while memory mode lets you save your custom options. You can also set the maximum amount of puffs for a day, at which point the device will stop responding to draws. Menu navigation has a slight learning curve, but it’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

TFV12 Prince Tank & Coils
It’s built out of superior stainless steel along with a blast-proof, temperature resistant reinforced glass. With only 25mm in diameter, it fits comfortably on the Devilkin.
The Smok Devilkin receives additional style points due to the beautiful 810 cobra resin drip tip with a locking mechanism. It’s fairly wide but unfortunately non-removable, which might be a problem for some.
When you eventually do run out of juice, refilling the TFV12 Prince is a cakewalk due to the top refill rotary design. It’s a very secure seal, so you won’t have to worry about leaking. Additionally, it has dual adjustable airflow for getting that tight draw.
Alongside the 0.4ohm Q4 and 0.15 T10 coils, TFV12 Prince supports a 0.15ohm X6 sextuple-core coil, a 0.15ohm mesh coil, and a 0.4ohm X2 Clapton coil.

Battery & Performance
The pre-installed 0.4ohm Q4 is rated between 40-100W, far below the maximum power of the Devilkin. It’s a very balanced and versatile coil, with solid flavor and excellent vapor production – pretty mediocre and something most people are familiar with. For everyday vaping, this is a perfect option.
The Smok Devilkin shows its true capabilities with the T10 12-core coil rated between 60-120W. This is a dream for all the cloud chasers out there. Very prominent and rich flavors complement the unparalleled vapor production, and the Devilkin manages to keep up with pretty much zero dry hits.
This is as good as it gets if you want to avoid building your own coils. Additionally, you won’t have to worry about damaging your batteries and coils since there’s both a 12-second cut-off time and an overheat protection mechanism.
Dual 18650 battery setup will be enough for a couple of days of use, even with high power vaping. If you don’t want to worry about recharging, bringing extra batteries is also an option since they’re removable. The over-discharge and short circuit protection will keep your device safe from faulty batteries. If you do choose to recharge them, it’s best to do it externally to minimize the chance of damaging the unit.
